I just started experiencing a bug today where I’m getting phantom knob touches happening or I can see the touch indicator for a control turn on when I’m not touching it. This sometimes results in the selected control group changing. I noticed it first on the most recent beta, but then when switching back to the release version it’s still happening. Is this a known issue? Is there a ribbon cable that might need to be re-seated? ---

Ok it’s possible this was a power supply issue… I’d had the E1 plugged into a MioXL and when I plug it directly into my computer it seems to be acting normally, for now at least. It does look like other users are successfully using the MioXL and I assume powering the E1 with it. I dunno, it’s hard to troubleshoot this because the problem comes and goes. ---

on my MioXL, not all ports are delivering enough power. It works on some and it has phantom touches or visual glitches on the others (both these issues are related to the lack of power). I do not see this on the MioXM. ---

Got it, thanks for the heads up! I’ll try going through a powered hub or something. Sorry to go off topic, but while I have your attention, I’d PMed you a while back about changing my username for the preset library, is that still the best way? ---

My E1 is USB powered via a (powered) Elektron Overhub, that in turn connects it to the PC. In parallel to MIO xl is connected to the E1 via DIN MIDI. In that way, no power is drawn from the MIO, and I still can use the E1 with or without PC.
