With the new E1 firmware it was a walk in the park to create a preset that needed patch parsing reverse engineering.  
For any Korg DS-8 owners out there (might perhaps work on a 707 as well), there is now a Preset for you: the **[Korg DS-8 w/ patch req NewIgnis V1.0](https://app.electra.one/preset/M6DhiTWXQFtnLYIstRSE)**

After it was stashed away for more than 20 years (and some restauration), I’m rediscovering the synth myself. Having all parameters in only 3 pages at your fingertips, makes this synth much more enjoyable, better sounding and surprising than with its meager 80’s hardware panel.
