The encoder assigned to the V Fader 4 by default changes the value of the first fader. This fader target can be changed by the choosing the control context and pressing the Next button. This takes several button presses and requires two hands (which is difficult when steadying some instruments).
Here are two ideas to make this easier:
- The last fader adjusted in Control Detail view becomes the new target for the main encoder. Perhaps this is an optionally enabled in the preset … or via a checkbox inside the detail view.
- Enable the Control Context within the Control Detail View. This allows easy access to next/prev and is discoverable,
