Should the web editor scroll to top when switching tabs?

For example:

  1. Select the editor tab for Lua
  2. Add enough text to allow for scrolling if not present and then scroll down
  3. Select the Debugger tab
  4. Select the Lua tab.
  5. The Lua tab has scroll edback to the top

It doesn’t matter which tabs you use in the editor assuming there’s enough content to scroll

Not sure if this is considered a feature or a bug. I find it pretty inefficient to have to refind my scroll position each time I look at another tab. Feel free to move this thread to the relevant forum category.

I’d say it would be a good improvement to keep editor where it was when user left it. I work on an ultrawide screen and I tend to have the split view always active. So I did not really noticed it is happening:

Split view? Now that is a welcome workaround.
