I’ve spent a lot of time beating my head against this, and I am stumped, and the only explanation I have now is that the editor has a bug that is triggering on import.
As I mentioned in a separate post, I have been working on a Markdown to preset JSON converter. Pretty happy with it. However, I am seeing something weird with group headers. To dig into this, I took a different person’s preset that was rendering correctly, and worked on my version to the point that there is negligible difference between the JSON I copy out of the editor for theirs, and the JSON I import in to the editor for mine.
But with mine, if I have single column headers in the sixth column, they clobber the headers in the fifth column and are moved there.
It’s not a bounding box size/position issue; we are using exactly the same numbers. And it only seems to affect that case; I can have multi-column headers that extend through column 6 no problem.
Here is mine: Electra One App
Here is theirs: Electra One App
Look at the group headers on the first page on right hand side.
What finally convinced me this is an issue with the editor - I can copy their seemingly working preset to my presets, edit it, save the JSON, re-import it, and the bug manifests (I wish I had thought of doing this at the start, would have saved myself a lot of pain and suffering where I thought I was at fault).
