I really love the tabs at the bottom to change pages quickly but… it would be much better to have the tabs at the top of the page. Let me explain why.

I have found that when you want to change pages, the 12 touch-sensitive knobs are in the way. It is easy to reach a touch-sensitive knob when you want to change pages because your finger is at a 45 degree angle to the display. If your finger is more straight down, it is usually the nail on your finger that reaches the display first. None of these problems exist if the tabs are at the top of the page.

The feature was added primarily with the Electra One Mini in mind - the Mini has a row of hardware buttons aligned with the bottom of the screen. That goes nicely with how it is arranged now. I guess this kept me from experimenting more with the layout. I totally agree with you. I will move the buttons to the top of the screen on OG (standard) Electra. I just need to think about how to get the touch gestures right.
