Am I overlooking something, or is there no LUA function in the extension API to set the DISPLAYED value of a control (i.e. not the underlying MIDI value)? Would be extremely useful for the Ableton Remote Script as it would make it possible to send the Ableton string representation of the current value to the E1 (the LUA function would need to accept strings, and essentially replace the output of the ‘formatter’ function in a preset)
