Hi,
a first version for the Oberheim/Viscount Organ OB-3 Squared Module, that sounds similar to a B-3 organ.
https://app.electra.one/preset/2afgLfqz6S5pL7MBgOGi
It’s a lovely sounding and fairly simple device, but Viscount clearly did not like to follow standard MIDI and used SysEx in the weirdest way. For instance a program change is done via a SysEx command, where each preset has a different command (not a different value ).
Anyway, the E1 preset will allow you to change each individual drawbar of the"upper" presets in real time, once you performed an initial SysEx dump from the OB-3 ². Something the OB-3 ² can’t do on its own.
All drawbar settings of all presets fit in the E1 memory easily, so now you can see all drawbar settings on the E1, and change them without sudden sonic jumps.
If you would like to return to standard OB-3 ² behaviour on the E1, press the “memory reset” button that appears after the receipt of the SysEx dump.
The E1 has slightly more parameters than the device itself, as some features are only settable via external commands.
You can control the echo feedback for instance, or the slow speed setting of the rotary.
As always, help is welcome in testing
