Roland Gaia Sysex Message Checksum Calculation Issue

This is a sysex message for Roland Gaia Distortion Type 1 value 0.
F0 41 10 00 00 41 12 10 00 04 09 08 00 00 00 6F F7

If I understand it correctly this is the bytes that should be calculated on (in bold).
F0 41 10 00 00 41 12 10 00 04 09 08 00 00 00 6F F7

Including the checksum in the calculation feels a bit strange.

So in the sysex editor the start should be 7 and the length 9.
Is this correct?

If I use the Gaia editor from momo https://roland-gaia-sh-01-sound-editor.jimdofree.com/#link1 The checksums do not match. My checksum is 3C and checksum from the editor is 6F (as in the example) for the value of 0.
