Would it be feasible for me (end user) to upgrade the Mini with a different screen that had touch?
- Would this be foolish from a simple DIY perspective and involve deep surgery like cutting traces, updating power regulators/usb, surface mount soldering, etc?
- Is there a connector/pad that I could connect the touch controller to the Mini PC?
- Would there be physical space/mounts in the mini case to accomodate a touch screen variant.
I know I’d likely be responsible for firmware changes … which would be possible once the openc source version is buildable.
I’m finding many use cases are complicate by the need to move a selector on a the creen and then edit. Direct manipulation works so well.
I assume an official, upgraded version of a mini with touch is just fantasy at this point.
