Ableton Live 12.4 was released yesterday. I’ve updated the remote script to be compatible with this version. See XOT Item : E1 for Live

Is the Remote Script portable to the Electra Mini, and if so, can someone provide a few guidelines?

Should work for the Mini as well. But for now without a mixer and without specially crafted presets.

Will give it a try asap, but why without a mixer?

And if I want to add this myself, would you recommend using LUA or JSON? I have some ancient coding experience (nothing object oriented).

Because with the limited screen estate and limited set of controller types it is hard to make a useful mixer. I’m hoping @Martin will add some more controller types soon, so stay tuned.

That’d be awesome, I would love use the Electra Mini for DAW control as well.

I’m very tempted to try the Auriteq Flow, but something similar should be able on the Electra Mini as well, right? Maybe even better, with clear full track names?

Definitely possible, and in fact beyond what the Auriteq Flow offers. Like I said I have some ideas, but I’m waiting for @Martin (the E1 developer) for some updates.

Hi, can I ask for a status update about fully controlling Ableton with the Electra One Mini?

I’m still tempted to try the Auriteq, and right now I’m not sure if I’m waiting or if it’s a ‘not gonna happen’.

@martin appears to be offline for quite some time now. Without firmware updates I cannot make a reasonable version of the remote script for the Mini. And do note that even then the functionality will be limited because of the limited screen estate of the Mini.

Thanks for replying this quick. I’m going to give the Auriteq a try, and keep using the Mini for programming my synths.
