I just ordered an electra now that they are back in stock, but something I’ve been trying to figure out for a while is if the electra can act like a patch librarian for a given synth. It seems like this would be nice for all sorts of reasons but especially older hardware. Could you do a save-as for a preset for a specific patch, load that preset and write all parameters to the synth?

Electra supports so-called snapshots. That is, saving of all parameter values of the preset. The feature is fairly new and still needs doing, but the essential idea is to be able to save and load “sounds” on Electra.

This is pretty cool. I have a couple of older synths rack synths and I’ve been turned off by the available midi-librarian options and workflow.
