FYI. While the Op.mem data are loaded successfully in V6 of the preset, it seems that the controls on the OP.mem FX and Op.mem Mix pages are not sending anything to the synth (there is no MIDI OUT indication).

That is correct ! on V6 I noted ā€˜Effects settings canā€™t be controlled yet.ā€™. Maybe should have mentioned it as ā€˜Op.Mem.ā€™ settings.

Sorry about that. I should read more carefully. I did change one thing on the preset. I changed. the scale of the portm time to go from 0-99 instead of 0-127 - just to match the range on the synth.

You mean for CC #5 you changed the display values ? Iā€™ll do that too then in the next version.

Apologies for the silence, lotā€™s of work on.

In the meantime Iā€™ve had my electra updated to a MK2 (with the kind help of @Dimitrios ā€¦.thank you!) and can now confirm this preset works flawlessly for me

Nothing changed in my setup and the VZ preset loaded up and worked instantly so I hazard a guess at MK1 having a problem with it?ā€¦. But letā€™s not rule out user error :confused:

Have to say thatā€¦. I wasnā€™t terrible at making sounds on this machine but the ability to now control the VZ with clarity and less fiddle is very cool. The preset is very well laid out and loving the clever implementation of the envelopesā€¦ā€¦ Thank you very much @NewIngnis !

Thanks. Much appreciated. Work isnā€™t finished however. But I needed my Matrix-1000 and then discovered its preset was out of date, and needed some TLC. Will get back to the Casio soon to finish it.

Hello again

After having proper time to use this instrument Iā€™m having a problem with the envelope parameters ā€œjumping aroundā€™

It appears the envelope controls on the E1 are not affecting the VZ, there is no change, both aurally and when I have a look at the parameters inside the VZā€¦. and as you can see from the video the parameters appear to be (kind of) resetting when I scroll off and then back on to the appropriate module

Which is odd as it seems every other control works perfectly well when adjusted from the E1

I have program & sysex on/enabled, patches are loading into the E1 properlyā€¦ I wonder what I may be doing wrong?
