I’m starting to work on a control panel for my FS1R, I would like to be able to draw the Yamaha DX1 LED displays. Can we get an example of how to draw squares, lines, and place text within an area on the screen? I just need an example of how to get started. I’d like to take up the area for two controls to draw the Algorithm properly.

At preset time, a list can have small drawings instead of texts. These are rather small though. I am thinking about ways how to make it possible to draw larger graphics on the screen. I ran into similar problem with with Kawai K5. It really needs a bit of custom graphics on the screen.
I saw the tiny Algorithm icons on the DX7 control panel. In editing a patch you really need to be able to read the operator numbers.
