Sorry @Martin, my mistake. I must have overlooked the Bootloader V1.1.
I installed it now, and got rid of the update.scr.
E1 reboots as before.

I can use the pages selection in the upper part of the screen now, but it only reacts if I touch the rim of the display. Iā€™m pressing only partly on the display itself and partly on the frame. That is as expected?

EDIT: sorry it works but itā€™s not reliable. I sometimes have to try 3-4 times, even change the finger to press with, before it responds. So its rather unusable.

other question : if I change a control on the E1 itself, should the origin in the onChange function yield 0 or 1?

I thought it used to be 0, but I get a 1 now.

Think I have found a regression in v4.1.0 firmware that has broken my VCVRack preset.

It seems that either the origin reported for an internal knob movement has changed, or the INTERNAL enum has changed in the v4.1.0 firmware, because the commented-out if condition never evaluates to true any more. I tried replacing it with the origin ~= 1 alternative, which seems to work for now.

18:56:01.355 lua: origin 1.0, vs INTERNAL 0.0

You can see that the origin is reported as 1.0, and the INTERNAL global constant is 0.0.

I donā€™t think this was an issue with the earlier 4.1.0 beta you shared in September , although I havenā€™t gone back to check.

Same here, the logic with ā€˜originā€™ was still okay in the beta version.

@NewIgnis @Phommed found the culprit. I am preparing 4.1.1 with the fix. The issue was introduced by the additions to the Remote knobs.

maybe itā€™s me but the the page selector on top isnā€™t working well as when it was on bottom, I have to hit the button several times to switch pageā€¦it was working perfectly when was on the bottom

maybe an option in the settings to put it top or bottom could make everyone happy?
