Is there a way to translate incoming MIDI on the mk1 using Lua? Eg, change channel for all incoming data, send it out
Yep, you should be able to do that. I made a preset a while ago, called the Notesplitter. It converts incoming MIDI and transmits it on different channels, depending on the polyphony of the connected synths, any layering or splitting you want and filtering of the main CC’s.
I think I made it back in the days for the Mk1
