I could use more pages, I have 8 voiced and 8 unvoiced operators on the FS1R which takes 16 pages to edit them. Unless… Is there a way to use one control to select the Operator, then have it update all of the other page controls to match? That would be incredibly useful and efficient.
I haven’t gotten to trying it but I think this is something like what you are looking for:
Just an update on this one.
A teaser first:
With numerous feature requests after the last production batch I have decided to find a way to make it possible for you users to implement it by yourself
Making the beta firmware a regular release has been postponed to make it possible to add a Lua scripting language. I tried to design the Lua interface to so that it addresses the recurring pains and allows scripting of the features on the list above. The beta is available…
All the operators are likely largely the same so you just need to be able to toggle which you are modifying/viewing vs page flipping.
I think this is the right Beta thread with an example:
A preset to demonstrate dynamic changes of the Overlay lists based on the state of another control. The dynamic lists are meant to be used anywhere where meaning of one parameter changes in context of another parameter value.
Note, I will adjust the web editor so that the overlay IDs are visible there. I will also separate the Overlay editor from the list editor in near future.
Excellent! Thanks. I’ll dig in and figure out what’s going on so I can use it, I’m still new to all of this.
