noticed when set the morphing sliders to a position (interpolation or randomization)
and move to a different preset to make adjustments
when I go back to that snapshot page the morphing silders position return to 0
even having pin preset toggle pressed
is that a normal behaviour or a kind of bug?
thanks
@martin is there an answer to the question above?
maybe I didn’t explain well the issue?
please let me know ![]()
@martin is there a way to use the morphing sliders well or that’s the way they work?
I move a slider in between the two snapshots and it is amazing, then exit the snapshots page and go back again on it and the morphing slider just moved went back to the start position….even if the values on the preset are still morphed but obviously if I move again the slider from that position (far left) the values immediately jump to the “new” position…
would be useful to make the morphing slider just moved to retain the position…
not sure is so obvious as a behaviour….
What is a “morphing slider” ?
is a control to morph between two snapshots, you can find it on the snapshot page right under the first six pairs of snapshots
@vins the feature was designed as a tool to create new sounds while you are in the Snapshots window. With that in mind, I made it stateless. ie. you can use it to create a new sound and leave the window for further tweaking or save it as a new snapshot. When you come back to the window, the whole process starts over again. Since the feature attracted some attention I think it could be further improved / extended.
ok thanks to explain it so clearly!
actually I thought that was the way you programmed it and probably hard to do it differently
but ye can be a feature to expand in future updates…
