I have a clone of the Nymphes preset by NewIgnis that was edited to port 2, midi channel 4. Works fine.
It was then edited in dual-layout mode to create a layout for the Mini. This also worked fine on virtual port 2.
I’m using the two USB Device virtual ports on the E1 and E1 Mini, both connected to a CME H12MIDI Pro in a small setup. The H12 router correctly shows the i/o for the two virtual ports from both the E1 and Mini.
My needs required that the Nymphes preset on both devices change to using virtual port one. The edited preset was sent to both devices, and the H12 routing updated to reflect this.
The E1 preset works as expected, now using virtual port 1. The E1 Mini derivative preset remains stuck using virtual port 2.
I was wondering if this is a bug, that affects derivative layouts, i.e. Mini from E1 or E1 from Mini, preventing their port, (and possibly MIDI channel) being changed? Or am I doing something wrong in the editor? I only see one way to change the port assignment, which appears to be global for the preset and both layouts.
