Some very cool new features. Do you think you can add dials to the mk2 and also the 4 bar controller to the mk2 as an option in the envelope section. I really like the look of those controls graphically speaking and they can really enhance the user experience by offering a better visual organization of on screen controls. I noticed on the left sidebar while choosing midi port and channel it cuts off the text when making a selection. Is it possible to enable the sidebar size to be adjustable in size or for the dropdown list to display the full text. Also I know you can select multiple controls and quickly adjust color but it would be great to expand the multiselect and modify feature to include midi channel and port. Lastly I feel a new preset should only consist of a single page and then if needed additional pages can be added by the user or if you keep it as is with all 12 pages automatically generated then can you set the default to hidden or add a function to automatically hide all unused pages on any loaded preset. It is easy to forget to hide pages and that really limits the speed of scrolling through the pages while using the e1. Lastly when a bank is loaded can you limit it so only those presets in that bank be accessible. I gets awkward using the next preset button and accessing presets you don’t want from some other bank.
Not sure if this is related to the new editor, but I am no longer able to load presets onto my mk1. I can see in the browser console the following error in Chrome whenever I click “send to electra”: “TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading ‘id’)”
I was editing and loading presets successfully as recently as last night.
Also, not sure if this is expected behavior, but when opening an existing preset in the editor, it loads in the Mini 4x2 layout by default, even though the preset is created for 6x6 layout.
thanks for providing the JS console output. It makes things easier. Pls try it now, it should work.
Thanks @martin, works now!
Hi @martin
I am on a MK1, latest firmware as well and face
error “not enough memory” (or a slightly different wording minutes ago?) since today (like within the last hour)
Also the memory usage indicator in the lower left corner now is about 50% and was more like 80% before I faced any memory issues (so it’s lower since the error
)
Loading my preset on startup or uploading it after power-cycling the E1 is my workaround now but does not seem to be deterministic.
May just related to changes you did very recently / right now?
Let me know if you need any additional info.
Thanks!
EDIT: IF the preset loads successfully, the memory indicator is at 80% as expected.
Guess I need a MK2 ![]()
Please send me the URL or the projectId of the preset. I will review that. There should not be any changes to the preset data that is sent to the controller, especially when sending the preset to the Mk1.
