Hi, I’ve been using the new web editor for a while now to create new and change existing presets.
Let me congratulate @martin on this new version, it’s drastically increasing my creation speed and fun.
The biggest pro’s for me are:
- the double screen: allowing to code on one side, while being able to review the data of the controls on the other side without having to constantly write stuff down
- the new controls overview, allowing to check if a particular parameter number is already in use, or to find back control ID’s that are mentioned in my code, but for which I forgot what it actually was for

There is still room for improvement, nothing blocking, and these topics have already been mentioned : copying from one control type to another (did that all the time) and swapping pages without loosing the control ID’s.
What I’m not fond of and wish it could be disabled is the auto-complete feature in lua. I constantly find myself typing ‘end’ or ‘do’, followed by ‘enter’ and that feature changes it in “isEnabled()” or “getPort()”. Rather annoying.
But the pro’s greatly outweigh the con’s, I do not want to go back anymore. And there are still loads of new and exciting things to learn and discover.
So to conclude: Fantastic job, Martin and Zdenek !
