Upgrade of the web account / editor

Today, September 9, 2026, I will be busy applying updates to the database backend used by the web account and editor applications. The goal is to prepare the services for firmware version 5.0.

There may be intermittent outages during this time. I will confirm here once the updates are complete.

Thanks for the warning, @martin ! As per the other thread I can finally connect to the web editor again now that Chrome is on version 153 for the Mac.

All changes completed. I tested everything, it looks ok. If you notice any problems, please report them.

Well, here is the first problem: after firmware update new or changed presets are not shown in E1 Mk2 when I have transfered them (progression dots are correctly shown and disappear, JSON and LUA files are stored in the slot directory!).

No problems with untouched presets…

I am looking at it.

EDIT:

@HDV reload your app.electra.one. Once you do that, it should have the “light-theme with the white background”. It will ask you to update to 4.1.4 firmware. Pls, do that. Once back on 4.1.4, try to transfer your preset to the controller again.

Hi Martin,

thanks for quick reaction. I managed update to 4.1.4 like you have written. A new preset is correctly transfered to and shown in E1. But the changed preset don´t get transfered, E1 is blocked!

Dieter

pls send me the url or project Id of the preset (private message) - I will take a look at it. Thanks.

@martin Here is a test a conducted. I have a preset with midi.onSysex (and onControlChange, onProgramChange) callbacks. I fw 4.14 I cloned the preset. Updated to fw 5.00c. Sent preset to E1 from beta editor. Loaded on E1. But the sysEx callback is not firing.

I see the “MIDI 1 IN” flashing so there is something happening. I rolled back to fw 4.14 and the preset works fine.

Here is the 4.14 preset Electra One App

My electra lost all presets. So I wanted to use the app to reupload them. But it lags terribly on Firefox and Chromium (under Fedora 44).

It always freezes at some point while selecting a preset to upload. The browser tab uses 150% cpu and nothing moves any more.

Update. Firefox doesn’t freeze completely but the send to electra button doesn’t do anything.

Chromium freezes, when trying to select a brand from the search puldown. When searching manually in the big list, clicking on the preset or on the send to electra button does nothing.

There are no errors in dmesg it doesn’t look like midi is sent at all, but i can’t say for sure.
