Your midi setups, E1 implementation in your studio

Exactly the same experience. I never really liked the poly800 until I could afford better and sold it. In the last twinty odd years I never found any synth with that same typical Poly800 sound and thus started missing it. So I bought a broken EX800 and a working Poly800 and recombined them onto a working EX800 and a (in the meantime repaired) sold Poly 800. It now waits patiently for the Hawk 800 upgrade and then it will get an E1 treatment.

Nice!!! Looking forward to the upgrade and your preset for it!

Hi,
yes, it’s working like a charm with the last custom firmware (1.1.0) with the new Midi Follow function. BTW, this firmware is no longer in beta, it has been published today…

Yes, I’m waiting for it too. I guess I will use the Poly a lot more afterward.

Cheers!

One thing that I would love to suggest to the Hawk guy is that it would be fantastic if the user could name the presets (like in the Behringer P-800) where it would scroll through the LEDs when called up… Not sure how the name change routine is… Probably just possible in an editor… But I love names… Not a big fan of keeping track of what patch #24 is…
