4.1.1 and MioXL not working anymore

Hi, before the update to 4.1.1 I had my E1MkII connected via MioXL and it worked pretty well. Now, after the update when I connect the E1 via MioXL the E1 is caught in a reboot-loop. When I connect it directly via USB to a Hub on my Mac it starts up normally. Does anybody have this problem, too?

First thought is that the mioXL is not supplying enough power to fully boot the E1. I have had that happen to me. My experience is that only a few of the USB ports on the mioXL can power the E1. Try different ports and see if that does it. I had luck using the ones on the front. One alternative would be to use a powered USB hub to power the E1.

I use MIO XL as well , but in a different config. The E1Mk2 is connected via DIN MIDI to the MIO. Its USB port is connected over a powered Elektron Overhub to the PC.
No issues with power so far.

Yes, I would also expect this to using a port (on MioXL) that does not provide enough current. Have you changed the port or can you try to use different port on the MioXL?

Also, does the issue disappear when you decrease the LCD brightness on the E1 to, say, 50%?

It works now. But I still have the issue that when my E1 is connected via mioXL I can’t see the preset names in the preset slots. It’s only when connected via mioXL.
