Can I use a Micro Lite MIDI Interface with teh Electra?

I’m trying to figure out if I can use my MOTU Micro Lite interface to extend my MIDI connections to more devices than the 2 sets of DIN on the back of the Electra. All my devices have different MIDI channels assigned. Both the Micro Lite and Electra are connected via USB to my computer. I guess it might also be possible to connect the DIN MIDI connection of the Electra to a DIN connection on the Micro Lite. Anyone have any experience wit this situation?

I have never had a chance to use Micro Lite / Express / XT with Electra. (only old Timepiece AV in my studio). But after taking a quick look at the docs I would say that you can use port / channel mappings to extend number of devices connected to Electra.

Thanks. I’ll have to look into it more, but right now I’m deep into making a preset and trying to learn everything. So little time, so much to do. :wink:
