Good day good people. If you’ve watched Loopop’s YouTube video from February 15, 2026 “Why Electra One Feels Like the Future of MIDI Control” Then you’ll see where he used AI to help create code/presets for the Electra One MKII (E1). I’ve been attempting the same recently and have managed to create a preset for the Kawai XD-5. Loading the preset into the E1 was done though the SD card method; placing the files onto the directory structure in the SD card.
Kawai XD-5.min.json → rename to preset.json
Kawai XD-5.lua → rename to main.lua
The preset.json and the main.lua are read by the E1 after placement and rebooting the unit and the preset shows up in the preset slots in the web.app Electra One App … Unfortunately there’s no project file so sharing it on the web.app currently doesn’t seem possible.
This is my first preset so I’m uncertain if I’m missing some integral method that could fix this.
I tried importing the json and the lua in the web.app but that resulting in two botched presets that I cannot delete from my view of MyPresets.
Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
