Mine arrived Friday. What a discovery ![]()
I’ll be posting an Evil Pet preset shortly.
Challenges found ![]()
- On win10, I experience issues to send a preset to the Mini, if the Mini is within a V Fader 4 screen. The transmission stalls.
- I can’t ‘overdub’ a control anymore using ctrl-V, xctrl-C, so I can copy a control’s attributes and assign them to a different control type
- the difference between a wide and small fader can’t be set anymore (but there are workarounds)
Some suggestions ![]()
- show the value on a dial control? Currently not possible, even with a formatter function.
- choose to reset to a default value when clicking the encoder
- on the V Fader 4 , be able to name and hide each of the four controls
- I’d love a V Fader 8 variant. It’s very intuitive to press an encoder to access a submenu. the main control should then indeed show 2 rows of 4 faders.
- on a dial, have a small line where the 0 value is (makes it easier to differentiate unipolar versus bipolar controls). I now resolve this where possible by defaulting 1 instead of 0.
