Ensoniq Mirage APDSR Envelopes - How to graphically represent them?

Again me with the weird envelopes… Not sure I even understand this form of envelopes yet…

The Mirage has an additional parameter in its envelope section it’s called (Attack) Peak and according to what I’m reading it represents how high a gain the Attack section can be at…
Not sure if any of the preset Envelope shapes can be made to show this properly but I would love to vamp up the display on the E1 a bit more from just having 5 sliders…

the 4 four stage EG can be used, but :

  • you must provide a non-functional parameter to any stage that has… no function (and set the value to fixed range like 0 to 0) like L1 and R1
  • the 4 stage doesn’t think in rates but in times.

If the attack peak can’t be lower than the sustain level, I’d use the standard ADSR EG and precede it with a separate Attack peak fader

Thank you so much! Found your post on the different custom envelopes you had shared… The last type ALDSD2S2R should fit my use case if I eliminate D2 and S2.
