Showing LFO wave types in source selection lists

Hi all,

when making a mod matrix, you typically assign sources such as LFO’s to a destination.
I use selection lists for this that then stipulate if I choose “LFO1” or “LFO2” as a source. But ideally, since I already assigned an LFO shape to each LFO, it would be great if the graph shown in the mod matrix is not the word ‘LFO1’ but a superposition of the graph of the chosen LFO waveform and a string (or another graph) such as ‘LFO1’ or ‘1’.
Probably not easy. But being able to show the waveform of the chosen LFO as well in a mod matrix would be a nice asset.

Any ideas or suggestions to achieve something similar (like showing the shape of the envelope when an envelope is chosen as a source, the shape of the waveform when an OSC is chosen etc)?

Use a formatter function to decide what to display attached to the Mod Source control.
