Is there an unread feature for the software this forum is using? Maybe it’s my settings?
Similar sites using what appears to be the same software have this feature. A category called “Unread” makes it easy to see and read just the posts that you haven’t viewed.
The “Latest” category is close to this feature.
When I go into the six sub-forums, the read thread titles are grey font, and the unread are black.
Yes … and you have to go into each sub-forum and then visually scan the list.
Other sites that use this same forum software have categories for Unread and New which are very useful. It might simply be one checkbox in a management console…
You don’t have to delve into the subfora. If you just dwell on the home page https://forum.electra.one/ it will show you all topics which contain unread content.
There aren’t hundreds of new inputs on a daily basis so it’s quite manageable.
Part of this might be config. In other forums, I track topics in each category (sub-forum) which means they show up as unread. [On second thoght, maybe not. Another forum does not have this setting yet I see both unread and new there)
There is no “New” though.

By the way, go to your personal preferences and looks for ‘tracking’ and ‘interface’. It’ll give you options on how to deal with new topics, and where to show counters.
But I don’t use those options myself
