In this example, the Electra is connected to my Mac mini via USB. My hardware synths are connected either to a MOTU MIDI Express 128 (DIN MIDI) or USB hub (USB MIDI). Using Ableton Live this way works great. Look at the picture. There I have chosen System-8. It’s the only thing needed to send MIDI to System-8 from Electra. Martin, do you see any problem with this way of using Electra? The picture shows the result of editing in a MIDI monitor. The advantage as I see it is that nothing extra is needed. Are there downsides?

I can’t get the E1 to send midi to LIVE. How did you do it?
