EDIT: This works with Firefox, so it moves the problem from Computer/OS/Mk2 to the browser.
I’ve been unable to connect to the App/Editor, even after following the advice across various threads here and Controller Not Detected | Electra One Documentation .
I’m starting to suspect that a recent MacOS update might be behind this, As everything ‘just works’ when trying on a different computer, but I could use some support. Will give all the gory repro steps/details:
System Stats:
- Mac Studio M1 Max
- MacOS Tahoe 26.6.2
- Electra One mk2 v4.1.4 (verified in Settings > System on the device)
I started by:
- Shutting down all applications that might be accessing my Mk2
- Logging out of the Electra One App
- Unplugging the device
- Removing the existing entry in chrome://usb-internals
- Removing the device from MIDI Studio
- Restarting my Mac
Then:
Using the supplied cable, plugged it back in, ensuring it’s going directly into the back of my Mac.
Verified it appears in System Information:
Confirmed that it appears/is active in MIDI Studio:
Verified that the device was added after being prompted by Chrome to allow/deny:
After logging back in, I still get the message even though I can select the CTRL port:
And despite the fact that MIDI Monitor shows that it can see the CTRL port and that messages are being sent from Port 1 via the same connection:
Thanks in advance!
