This first version has pages to control two algorithms in the Expert Sleepers DistingEX eurorack module … Spectral Freeze and Dream Machine. I based the layout on the excellent Disting EX MI algos preset by Stuart Hossack - thanks!
Creating this preset has immediately made the algos more accessible to me using the Electra One, even compared to using the hal9000 TouchOSC templates.
Nice one Richard! I was about to sit down and start making some more of templates for these algorithms - very pleased to see you’ve already done spectral freeze. Looking forward to trying it out!
Hi - great to hear this might be useful to you. There are many more algos to map (which would need more E-1 presets to fit them all in). There is also the first DistingEX MI preset , focusing on the Mutable Instruments clone algos which inspired me to add some more of my own.
I found a bug in the Disting EX MIDI mapping when adding the Quad Quantizer pages. Oz acknowledged the issue and linked to a bug fix. I am not sure if that version has made it into the official DistingEX firmware yet. I am still running that dev version he linked to for now.
