Felt cover for the Electra One Mini

Hi all,

Just wanted to highlight here that the maker behind the Electra One Mk2 felt cover has created a similar cover for the Electra One Mini (Etsy UK link but sure you can find a local link).

Disclaimer: I reached out to the Etsy seller, he offered me one free to try out, (I think because I had asked for the E1 Mk 2 cover originally).

The new cover fits tightly over the E1 Mini knobs, perhaps slightly more tightly than on the E1, maybe because of the different geometry of the Mini encoders. The Mini screen is completely covered, and, like the E1 Mk 2 cover, I think it looks great too.

Can you chime in on how much protection this provides? Seems like it is mostly to avoid dust and maybe scratches.

Looking for something to protect the Mini while in transit. This doesn’t seem like it’s quite there for that purpose?

correct, yes, this is good for a home studio to protect from dust and even liquid spillage at a push, but doesn’t provide any impact protection .. its a felt cover with some cleverly - cut holes in it.
