Hi folks. I am experiencing a strange thing. I am sending a basic envelope of CCs from ableton 12 on Win11.
The E1 mk2 receive the CC on a mapped controller. If I let ableton plays for a minute or so, the E1 screen starts glitching randomly but is not freezing. I have to refresh the screen (let say going to the preset page and come back) for the glitches to disappear. Then it comes back again and again, like if E1 can’t handle the flow of CCs.
any idea? I almost tried every thing and it is a very basic configuration with a preset containing only one cutoff controller…
Hi, I noticed something similar while I was recently stress testing the 4.0. It looks like that the communication speed between the mainboard and the display board is too set too. On some occasions it causes glitches on the screen. I am busy with resolving it.
Do you experience it only after the cold start or is it happening even if your controllers runs for longer time?
Thank you for coming Martin. I am testing intensively to spot the issue and tried lots of combinations. So I would say both, a fresh start of everything, a fresh start of only the controller or the computer, a long run as well. Sometimes it happens directly, sometimes after 1 or 5 minutes, even if the controller is not set as input as well (so no midi loop possible)…
