Help! Electra gone mad

My Electra was sitting plugged in doing nothing much and suddenly went a bit berzerk. And now every time I boot it up this happens. I tried holding down the left middle key to reset it but that doesn’t work. How can I reset it? I’ll be heartbroken if its gone bad, especially given how they are unobtanium.

Ah, I saw Martin’s post about not enough power. And that seems to be it. It’s weird because it has been plugged in to the same powered hub all along and nothing else has changed, and it worked for a day and now will not work. But when I connect it to my Mio it works.

Hi, yes. What you are seeing in your video is a typical symptom of insufficient power. If nothing has changed on the hardware side, I would suspect the cable. You could also try reducing the LCD brightness a little bit.

Wow, what’s that string of small yellow buttons on the bottom of your page? A custom control layout?

Yes, I didn’t realize this before the Loopop video, now I am going nuts building apps on the Electra. It’s become way more useful than I imagined.
