Oops. I got E1 in an infinite loop

I accidently pasted a function into the formatter box in the preset editor and when I sent it to the E1 it is now stuck in a loop. The log is saying
'runFormatter' does not return value
and then eventually
error running function 'runFormatter': not enough memory

I tried the restart while holding top left button trick (via @martin video) but that did not work. It doesn’t get past the start up screen.

Help please!

FYI. mkII v3.0 running 3.6.1

There is a way to restart the E1 without starting the current preset. But I can’t remember what key combination to press for this

That’s what I tried, I think: restart without loaded last preset. But that hasn’t worked. Factory reset?

Recover from “boot hanging/corrupt loading preset”
press= left+right top buttons - then Reset button.

Thanks. I didn’t try that combo. But followed the factory reset steps from the troubleshooting guide and then deleted the corrupted preset off the E1. I’m back up and running again - until next time :wink:
