'Send Current' acting weird with 1010music Bluebox

I’m using E1 as a controller for my Bluebox. When I load a preset or use Send Current, the only data the Bluebox responds to is mute states, not volumes, sends, etc. All MIDI CCs are user-assigned on the Bluebox so I don’t think it’s the specific data that’s being sent. I’ve tried changing the rate at which data is transferred incase the Bluebox can’t handle the traffic, but to no avail. Works fine with other gear. Any ideas?

Send Current forces the controller to send out all parameters known in the internal map of parameters. To understand the issue, it might not be a bad idea to check what is Electra sending out by using a Midi Monitor / MidiOx application. In this case, you can simply observe data sent to the USB device port.

I’ll do that, thanks

I checked the output using a MIDI monitor, it’s outputting exactly what I’d expect (ie, state of each control of preset) on load and Send Current. It’s doing it incredibly quickly and the Rate option in the editor makes no difference. I’m assuming it’s the speed the Bluebox is receiving MIDI that’s the issue but I don’t know for sure

I have the Bluebox in the second workshop. I will be there tomorrow. I will check that out.

Incase it’s useful, my preset has complete controls for 8 Bluebox channels on 2 Blueboxes, so 16 channels total (vol, mute, solo, aux 1-3, fx 1&2, pan). So all that’s being sent out at once.

if you send me the link your preset, eg on PM, it would be ideal.
