Hello! When I perform the firmware update by clicking on the firmware (a square button), the system freeze and the progress bar stuck at the very start. How can I work around this issue? I haven’t updated my firmware for more than a year, and I wonder if the update has a dependency of a more recent firmware.
It could be a bootloader version issue. Using the web update tool requires the latest bootloader to be installed first. Just a thought.
Thank you for the suggestion! My bootloader is v1.0, so you are right that I should try to update that first. Do you know how to update that? I go to app.elektra.one and didn’t find a way to update to the new bootloader. it does show that I need to update my firmware.
I managed to update my firmware by first updating to 4.0.0 and then to 4.1.4
After the update, the app.elektra.one still doesn’t show me the option to update the bootloader. My hardware version is 3.0. Is it eligible for a bootloader update?
This is what I found. With the 1.0 bootloader you can still update the firmware, as you found out. You just can’t use the web tool to do it. Once you update the bootloader you can use the web tool to do the firmware update. Not sure if there are other benefits to updating the bootloader.
