Envelopes suited for DW8000 and AlphaJuno

Hi,

I’m using seperate dials - on the E1 Mini - for controlling each of the Roland AlphaJuno and Korg Poly800/DW8000 envelope stages, being:

Korg: Attack, Decay, Break Point, Slope, Sustain, Release, of which Decay and Slope are time parameters

Roland: Env T1, L1, T2, L2, T3, L3, T4, with T = time. (Also used on the JX-10 + Vecoven upgrade.)

The current (extra) envelopes use rate, which is the opposite of time. If another 4 stage envelope could be added with time instead of rate, that’d be awesome!

Thanks ahead,

Rob

Edit: @NewIgnis , can I use your EG Template for this? How do I convert this to the E1 Mini?

If you want to change (part of ) a Mk2 into a Mini preset, what you could do is clone the Mk2 preset, then open it with the two layouts next to each other:

Now you should be able to move a control from the left side to the right just be dragging. It looks that this retains the original reference code, so the lua logic behind (except for setslot functions) should remain unchanged.

I haven’t done that myself yet, mind you, but it’s worth trying no?
Then when you 've dragged for instance all EG parameters that way, you should have a functional EG in a MINI lay-out. Once this is well tested, and you know that part works well in a MINI enviroment, then it should be easy to port the parameters (and the related lua logic) to your own preset.

Again ; I haven’t tested this before (at least I don’t recall how I did it for the Matrix 1000) but that would be my angle of approach.
