Just to let you know I was patching this morning and used some of the upgraded Mod Patch capabilities you’ve added. It’s now much easier to use and seems to work fine. Only head scratcher for me was forgetting to hit the send button prior to saving the patch and then wondering why nothing had change on patch reload!
Just one thing I spotted: setting a Patch Source to OFF doesn’t work. It defaults to CC43 whenever the flashing button is pressed to confirm.
Working on some fun patching at the mo so will give it a good road test.

I’ll try to look at this in the next day or so. Heading into the holiday times, so lots of family/etc obligations. Also trying to create a Ctrlr version of the editor so that people can have a stand-alone or VST3 version to run in their Windows/Mac DAWs.

Just DL’d 1.13 from the presets and pushed it to E1 - can’t get it to sync/communicate. Grabbed 1.11 from my presets and pushed it and it works fine again.
Any ideas?

I took a quick look at the code revisions between the last few versions and there doesn’t seem to be any changes in the Sync areas. I don’t have any hardware with me, so I can’t say for sure what’s going on.
The fact that 1.11 works for you and 1.14 does not is a small mystery. Just for completeness, what version of the Electra One OS are you running? I think I was testing with 4.1.2, but again, I’ll check late on Thursday.

Yes - very weird. I had 4.1.2 OS in the Electra One. I downloaded the PCM 80 preset. I pressed Sync and nothing happened.
I did not see any MIDI Out/USB port headers flash.
I added a couple debug statements and re-sent it.
I pressed Sync and now it works fine.
My guess is that there might be some subtle memory/stack overwrite/bug that sometimes causes parts of the preset to silently fail. This has also manifested itself in weird errors (as others have reported) when trying to do a save and send to the Electra. I’ll get nonsense errors like ‘missing semi-colon on line 134’ or something and it’s a global table I create or a line of code that is perfectly fine.
Give the most current (1.14) version a try and let me know.

I am looking at it. There’s something funky happening in 4.x regarding the sysex. @NewIgnis already reported similar issues. Pls do not modify your preset or spend much time on that, it is me, who needs to find what is happening there. Thanks for reporting!

FWIW, in theory, (in my preset) pressing the sync button should send something out the MIDI ports, but there is a bit of checking in my code inside the syncPCM() method before I send it.

@oldgearguy - tried 1.14 but same result - no activity on top monitor indications on E1 with the preset. I’ve reverted back to 1.11 at the mo.

I don’t want to force it, but have you thought about bumping the E1 up to 4.1.2?
Also - do you have other presets loaded into your E1?
I’ll look to upgrade this weekend.
yes - running lots of other presets without issue..
@oldgearguy - updated bootloader and E1 firmware to 4.1.2 this morning and the PCM 80 preset v1.14 now syncs with the device fine. How strange..
Haven’t done any testing beyond that but will have a play over the next few days.
